Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash has confirmed the band is writing new material and plans to hit the studio once his touring commitments end. New music is coming soon, the guitarist said during the Rolling Stone Uncut podcast interview. Slash compared the current writing process to the band's Use Your Illusions albums from 1991 and '92. "That time is coming with Guns pretty soon, so it will happen, but I just couldn't tell you exactly when." After that, Slash will kick off a tour with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, supporting their fifth album, set to be released in February 2027.
