Less than 40 minutes from Aberdeen centre, it’s a picturesque town with parks, pubs and a busy high street.
Having just been to Balmoral for another work appointment, I’d already driven along the High Street earlier in the day.
A well-established Banchory business, Continental Cream has been a mainstay in the town for more than half a century.
“There’s no reason why Banchory can’t become a destination for tour buses, with a bustling high street,” she says.
‘There’s footfall… but not so many sales’But for some traders, while the High Street appears bustling, sales don’t reflect the footfall.
