Summer community celebration season in the Northland is in full swing, and Esko's Fun Days celebration is underway. As we head toward the weekend, the number of events ramps up, with the final day of festivities for this year's Esko Fun Days being Saturday, August 8. People of all ages can enjoy bingo at the Esko school cafeteria Thursday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 pm. The younger kids' movie will be a showing of "Up" at 2:30 pm, and the teen movie is "The Goonies" at 8:30 pm. Saturday, August 8The grand finale of this year's Esko Fun Days includes a 5K starting at 8 am, and the Grand Parade getting going at 11 am to start the day of fun.
