Aug 07, 2026Dwayne PageLiberty mayor Audrey Martin was re-elected to a second term Thursday in the Liberty Municipal Election. Mayor Martin defeated challenger Derek Johnson, an incumbent alderman by a vote of 78 to 65. All the aldermen-elect are new to the board except for Stanford who was already an incumbent alderman. In the uncontested Dowelltown Municipal Election Thursday, Tisha Hendrixson and Eric Dwain Snow each won a four year alderman seat. Three alderman positions were to be filled in the election but only these two names were on the ballot.
