The six-song Timeless project places Dolenz in collaboration with writers and musicians from different eras of pop and rock. The project continues a recording career that has increasingly allowed Dolenz to explore songs outside The Monkees catalogue. “Waiting For The Day” gives Peterson, a founding member of The Bangles, a direct songwriting connection to the project. The Monkees television series debuted on NBC in 1966 and combined scripted comedy, music and rapid editing in a format that became an important part of the development of television pop culture. His solo recordings include Micky Dolenz Puts You To Sleep, Broadway Micky, Demoiselle, King For A Day, Remember and Out Of Nowhere.
