In a social media post, CM Sarma emphasized that every relief measure announced by the government is being swiftly executed to ensure timely help for flood-affected families. “The implementation of every announced relief measure is being expedited on the ground. We are providing immediate assistance, aiding in rehabilitation, and ensuring that our flood-affected families receive the help they deserve,” he said. Under the relief package, each eligible family will receive interim financial assistance of ₹15,000 to meet immediate needs.
