New Delhi, August 8: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest at the 57th convocation ceremony of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi on Saturday. During the event, he will address over 3,000 graduating students and inaugurate the AI-powered High-Performance Supercomputing Centre at the institute’s Sonipat campus. Emphasizing India’s commitment to advancing cutting-edge research and artificial intelligence, the Prime Minister will inaugurate this state-of-the-art facility at IIT Delhi’s Sonipat campus. During a press conference in New Delhi on Friday, IIT Delhi Director Rangan Banerjee stated that PM Modi will award the institute’s most prestigious prizes to outstanding students. Earlier, on August 4, IIT Delhi and Cisco announced the launch of the “Cisco Technology Hub” focused on AI and cybersecurity.
