National leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Seriake Dickson, has described as ‘very fruitful’ his meeting with the party chairmen in the North-West zone. In a post on his verified X handle, Dickson said they reviewed preparations for the campaigns that would secure victory for all their candidates in the 2027 general elections. “It was a pleasure to host a strategic meeting of the national leadership of our party with the State chairmen of the North-West Zone, a very critical region in the politics of our country. “The discussions were fruitful, and we remain confident that victory is achievable,” he wrote. DAILY POST reports that the NDC has former governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi, and his Kano counterpart, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, as presidential and vice presidential candidates, respectively.
