Detectives arrest Shandon man accused of abusing a child at an unlicensed daycareInvestigators seek information about possible additional victims or witnesses– San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a 67-year-old Shandon man Wednesday as part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14, according to a press release. The Sheriff’s Office Detective Division served a search warrant in the 100 block of South Fourth Street in Shandon. Detectives arrested Javier RiveraMojica without incident and booked him on a no-bail arrest warrant for multiple counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14. Investigators are working to determine whether additional victims or witnesses have not yet come forward. The Sheriff’s Office said the victims in the case have received offers of victim advocacy and support services.
