President Hichilema Pledges to formalise Mufumbwe’s Kikonge Mine

President Hichilema says he will ensure that the mine employs the local people so that they also get empowered.
“Am not going to allow foreigners to be employed at Kikonge, I want the local people from Mufumbwe to be employed,” said President Hichilema.
President Hichilema said he will ensure to give many mining licences to the locals that will be conducting mining activities at Kikonge mine.
President Hichilema disclosed that his priority is to work on the township roads such as Kalengwa- Kabipupu and M8 roads.
“We are going to increase the fertiliser for farmers stressing that they will no longer be sharing a bucket,” said President Hichilema.
