On Thursday afternoon, the Civil Protection Department was informed that an person required medical assistance after suffering a head injury following a fall at Blata l-Bajda, limits of Selmun. A coordinated rescue operation between the Civil Protection Department and the Armed Forces of Malta was immediately launched. The injured person was helped by an AFM rescuer and transported by vehicle to a safe and accessible location.
