NEW HAVEN, Vt. (WCAX) - The Addison County Fair and Field Days was in full swing Friday and expected to draw thousands to the fairgrounds to enjoy a gorgeous summer day. The fair has been held in the same spot since 1948, and for many who attend, it’s a familiar scene. So, the people who have come to expect certain things when they come to field days, they can hopefully see that again this year,” said Benj Deppman, the director of the Addison County Fair and Field Days. Local Michael Provencher has been pulling tractors at the fair for five decades. “Some people go fishing, others go tractor pulling,” Provencher said.
