On Friday, a leading conservative political analyst revealed what he really thinks about President Donald Trump, the Republican Party, and their MAGA voters, declaring that Trump’s cultish following has resulted in a “sick country.” This is according to Tom Giovanetti, president of the prominent conservative think tank the Institute for Policy Innovation, who took to social media to share his ire toward his colleagues on the political right. We have a lousy economy because we have a sick country. We have a sick country because we tolerate a president focused on his hobbies, his enrichment and his pet peeves rather than his duties as president. Giovanetti has blamed the state GOP for the potential upset, "because the Texas Republican Party nominated Paxton, in full knowledge of all of his failings and deficiencies."
