Liberty University has announced that School of Behavioral Sciences Dean Dr. Kenyon Knapp has stepped down from his role as dean after eight years of service. Dr. Jeff Boatner, who previously served as associate dean of the School of Behavioral Sciences, has been named interim dean. “We are grateful for Dr. Knapp’s service to the School of Behavioral Sciences and Liberty University,” said Dr. Chris Kennedy, Vice Provost for Health Affairs. During his time at Liberty, Knapp served the School of Behavioral Sciences through teaching, scholarship, and service. “I am honored by the opportunity to serve the School of Behavioral Sciences in this interim role,” Boatner said.
