A brush fire quickly spread in the hills near Gorman and the 5 Freeway Friday afternoon.

Original Details:Named the Ridge Fire, the brush fire broke out at around 2:43 p.m. Friday near the 39500 block of Gorman Post Road, just north of the Interstate 5 and Highway 138.
