As revealed in the In Memoriam section of SAG-AFTRA's summer 2026 digital issue, prolific voice actor, Michael Donovan, passed away earlier this year. The 72-year-old voice actor, voice director, and casting director had a healthy and respectable career between his many anime, cartoon, movie, and video game roles. Unfortunately, the dub did not prove popular with audiences of the time, so the team switched gears to dubbing Dragon Ball Z instead. The voice actor played Guile and Zangief in Street Fighter: The Animated Series and Sabretooth in X-Men: Evolution.
