Police were called to the lakefront about 3.15am after a report of a man being assaulted. On Police’s arrival, the victim was found in a critical condition and was transported to hospital. The alleged offender was located nearby a short time later and taken into custody. Police are now working to establish the full circumstances of what has occurred, and charges are being considered.
