The WYO Theater’s 37th Season will open with Rosanne Cash and John Leventhal for an intimate evening of songwriting, storytelling and musicianship. The daughter of country music legend Johnny Cash, Rosanne Cash has distinguished herself as one of America’s most eminent singer-songwriters and built a remarkable career spanning more than four decades. Joining her is husband and longtime creative partner, John Leventhal, himself a six-time Grammy-winning guitarist, songwriter and producer whose influence can be heard throughout American roots music. WYO Performing Arts and Education Center Executive Director Erin Butler said Cash is both a legacy artist and wholly unique through her work. E. ButlerTogether, Cash and Leventhal have created some of the most celebrated music of her career, including “The River & the Thread,” which earned three Grammy Awards.
