TN CM Vijay's Wife Sangeetha Withdraws Divorce Petition, Chengalpattu Court Closes CaseCourt records her submission, allows withdrawal with liberty to file a fresh petition if needed. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay's wife, Sangeetha, on Friday pulled back from her divorce proceedings, submitting a withdrawal petition through her counsel when the case came up for hearing at the Chengalpattu family court. Appearing via video-conferencing, Sangeetha told the court she did not wish to pursue the matter further and sought approval to withdraw her plea. The judge noted her submission, and with no objections raised from Vijay's side, went on to formally close the case — while granting her the option to approach the court again in future should the need arise. Sangeetha had originally moved court last year, accusing her husband of carrying on an extra-marital affair with an actress.
