Now, the Trump administration trying to co-opt the film to promote U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations — and getting dragged in the process.
On Thursday, Aug. 6, the White House team uploaded a post to Instagram using Spider-Man imagery to trumpet deportations of undocumented immigrants.
It’s the fact that this post is using Spider-Man.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day stormed into theaters on July 31, and shattered the record for all-time best domestic debut.
