KOZHIKODE: Sunil Ambekar, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh, stated in Kozhikode on August 6 that the growing popularity of the patriotic slogans “Vande Mataram” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” reflects a notable shift in public attitudes.

Ambekar’s remarks come at a time when Vande Mataram has regained renewed national prominence through a series of government initiatives marking the 150th anniversary of the National Song.
The renewed emphasis forms part of the year-long nationwide commemoration of 150 years of Vande Mataram, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 7, 2025.
