PN Leader Alex Borg has said Gozo should be a place where young people can build a career, start a business and raise a family, rather than feeling they have to leave the island to succeed. During a visit to his home island, Borg said Gozo has the talent and ambition to thrive, but needs policies that recognise its unique realities. “As a Gozitan, I do not want Gozo to be a place young people have to leave in order to succeed,” he said. “We want it to be a place where they can build a career, a business and a family. Gozitans are not asking for special treatment, but for the right conditions to allow their talent, hard work and investment to succeed.”
