A lane closure previously scheduled for this weekend on the westbound Carquinez Bridge has been rescheduled for the following weekend, according to Caltrans. A full closure of the westbound Carquinez Bridge is planned for Aug. 21-24. Caltrans is hosting a public meeting to discuss construction plans on Monday at 6 p.m. at the Norman C. King South Vallejo Community Center at 545 Magazine St. in Vallejo. The pedestrian and bike path will remain open during the lane closure. For updates, visit 511.org and quickmap.dot.ca.gov.
