A woman who was critically injured when she was struck by a car driven by two young children in Oakland has been stabilized at the hospital, a close friend said Friday. The Toyota struck another car before veering into Bowling and the dog and then crashing into a wall and fence. Bowling was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but her good friend, Jyorti Arora, provided a positive update on Friday. "I know we’re not out of the woods yet, but we all have a lot of faith," Arora said. "She’s an incredibly strong woman, so we’re very grateful that all of her vitals are stable."
