EDITORIAL: Meeting public should be a campaign’s priority
['Editorial Board']
The Tribune
Acton has shown more accessibility to public than RamaswamyLabor Day is nearing and, with it, the start of the heavy campaigning for this fall’s general election.
This comes following a campaign season which has provided a picture of two very different campaign approaches.
Acton has been hitting all parts of the state, by car, hosting meet and greets, visiting community events, small businesses and rallies since the beginning of the year.
Ramaswamy, however, has done considerably less public events and a good portion of those of his appearances have been private, paid admission events.
We urge all candidates for office to make themselves available to meet with voters, hear what is on their mind and allow these conversations to shape their priorities.
