EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A 36-year-old man has been charged with sexual assault of a child after his teenage step-daughter alleged he sexually assaulted her for years, according to an arrest affidavit. Documents from the El Paso Police department alleged Adam Salvador Martinez committed the offense from February 2024 to June 2026. The victim, now 17, and her mother went to the Advocacy Center for the Children of El Paso. Documents alleged Martinez "put her on birth control but she stopped taking it." According to jail records, El Paso police arrested and booked Martinez into the downtown jail on a $150,000 bond.
