Cordell, OK – Residents of Washita County and surrounding communities will have an opportunity to meet with Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt during a public gathering on Friday, Aug. 14, at the historic Washita Theater in downtown Cordell. The event will begin at 2:10 p.m. at the Washita Theater, 111 S. Market Street, Cordell. According to organizers, the governor will meet with local legislators, county officials, city leaders, and members of the public to discuss the future of southwest Oklahoma and hear from area residents.
