An Oakland man has been charged with five felonies in connection with an organized theft ring linked to dozens of burglaries in Concord, according to the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office. The investigation began after roughly 35 burglaries were reported between April and July in the Ygnacio Valley and Clayton Valley areas of Concord. Marshals Service, served a search warrant at Cordova-Cubias’ Oakland residence. Authorities said they recovered numerous items of suspected stolen property, including at least 500 power tools. The stolen property allegedly included power tools, survey equipment, pipe inspection equipment, a utility ATV and a forklift.
