BEAUMONT, Texas –A pair of illegal alien brothers have been sentenced to federal prison for firearms possession in the Eastern District of Texas, announced U.S. Attorney Jay R. Combs.
Isaac’s brother, Fernando Valencia-Espinosa, 30, was also sentenced to 15 months in federal prison by Judge Crone on August 4, 2026, for the same violation.
Once Isaac and Fernando’s true names were ascertained, law enforcement determined they were both citizens of Mexico who were illegally present in the United States.
Law enforcement also recovered two rifles and two handguns during the encounter.
This case was investigated by the U.S. Forest Service; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives; and the Department of Homeland Security.
