Fenland District Council has confirmed that action is ongoing regarding unauthorised kennels on Redmoor Lane, in Wisbech, where neighbours have complained about noise, odour, and dog waste. A council spokesperson said: "Following the refusal of planning permission for the kennels, the Council served an Enforcement Notice requiring the unauthorised kennels to be demolished. "The Planning Inspectorate granted a four-month period for the operator to demonstrate that the use would not harm residential amenity. A planning application for the kennels was refused by Fenland District Council, but the applicant appealed the decision. Fenland District Council’s planning enforcement team is now carrying out compliance checks, and further action will be considered if the requirements of the notice have not been met.
