While the most widespread round of storms has moved through, the severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 10 p.m. Friday. Although the main line of storms is now moving away, the weather is not expected to completely settle down just yet. A few stronger storms remain possible, with damaging wind gusts and hail continuing to be the primary threats. The overall severe weather threat, however, should gradually decrease as the cold front pushes southeast later this evening. Unsettled weather is then expected to continue Monday through Tuesday, bringing several opportunities for showers and thunderstorms as a more active weather pattern remains in place.
