(ABC 6 News) — Fire crews responded to a structure fire near Pine Island on Friday afternoon. According to the Pine Island Fire Department, crews responded to a report of a building on fire at 2 p.m. on 530th Street in Milton Township. Crews entered the building and were able to quickly knock down the fire. PIFD said damages to the building were limited to one room inside the building. According to the homeowner, it is believed that lightning had struck near the building and causing the fire.
