Floyd County Medical Center remains committed to providing exceptional obstetrical care and ensuring local families continue to have access to labor and delivery services close to home,” FCMC said in an email to ABC 6 News. “We want every expectant mother to know that Floyd County Medical Center continues to provide obstetrical care and labor and delivery services. Despite this transition, FCMC said on its website that it wants to be clear that it is not ending its obstetrics program.
