(ABC 6 News) — The Albert Lea City Council will be discussing new additions to the Albert Lea Municipal Airport when it meets on Monday evening. The council will look at the possible construction of a new six-unit hangar. Monday’s action will focus on whether the council wants to approve more than $60,000 for the design work on the project. While the hangar is expected to cost upwards of $1.3 million, the federal government would cover 90% of that cost while the state and city would each provide 5%.
