The prince of thieves is just a brutal bandit in the vision of Michael Sarnoski and in his film Robin Hood – The Price of Bloodfrom August 12th at the cinema with I Wonder Pictures. The American director and screenwriter overturns the traditional iconography of Robin Hood to tell the story of a very different man from the generous one consigned to legend. In all his dark torment he is played by Wolverine from the X-Men saga Hugh Jackman. A sort of substitute father figure, the old man gave the young man a copy of the Robin Hood book that he himself had read during his childhood in the 1940s.
