A Florida man has pleaded guilty to posting repeated threats to execute Secretary of State Marco Rubio and State Department Special Envoy Kristi Noem, according to federal prosecutors.
In the first post, Enriquez tagged Rubio, the State Department and President Donald Trump while criticizing Rubio over Cuba, according to the indictment.
“Silence yourself,” Enriquez wrote before claiming that a military court would investigate Rubio and that Rubio and Noem had been found guilty of seditious conspiracy.
Article continues below the playerIn a second post directed at Rubio, Enriquez wrote that “the only way” the secretary would be silenced was “through death.”
The third post again targeted both officials and said in English and Spanish that Rubio and Noem would be executed at 4 p.m. Enriquez tagged Telemundo and also referred to Mexico’s president.
