Perez Hilton’s children, niece and sister were inside his Miami-area home minutes before he livestreamed himself cutting his body and repeatedly saying he wanted to die, according to a new statement from his family. “Our highest priority right now is helping the children begin to heal from what they experienced,” the statement said. The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office received multiple calls about the livestream and located Hilton alone inside his home. Hilton was eventually taken safely from the home and transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a hospital for medical attention. “The events of the past several days have been nearly unbearable for our family,” the family said Thursday, thanking the public for its continued support and prayers.
