Peace Corps Eastern Caribbean Swears-In New Cohort of VolunteersSt. Vincent and the Grenadines served as a primary location for a regional hybrid ceremony today as the Peace Corps Eastern Caribbean officially swore in 25 new Volunteers.
These individuals are beginning a two-year term of service across four host islands, including St. Vincent, Saint Lucia, Grenada, and Dominica.
Of the 25 new Volunteers, five are assigned to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, joining others in Dominica (5), Grenada (6), and Saint Lucia (9).
This new group joins a long legacy of partnership in the region; since 1961, more than 4,339 Volunteers have served in the Eastern Caribbean.
The ceremony comes as the organization prepares to celebrate 65 years of service in the Eastern Caribbean in 2026.
