Two Warrensburg residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident along Missouri Route 13 in Johnson County on Friday, August 7. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by an 88-year-old man crossed the center of the roadway and traveled off the left side of the Route 13 at 3:11 p.m. The vehicle then went across Northwest 625th Road and struck a utility pole. The driver and an 86-year-old passenger in the vehicle sustained serious injuries in the accident. The accident was reported about six miles north of Warrensburg.
