Operations between the Baiyappanahalli and MG Road metro stations will remain halted for two hours, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, the transit authority confirmed on Friday, August 7.
Reason for SuspensionThe BMRCL stated that the temporary service disruption is required to carry out "essential maintenance work" specifically located between the Swami Vivekananda Road and Indiranagar metro stations.

"Normal services on the entire Purple Line, including the affected section between Baiyappanahalli and MG Road, will resume from 9 AM," the corporation said in an official statement.
