IKK made the remarks when the Hip Hop Foundation donated assorted food and non-food items to the Mnyema family in Nkolokosa, Blantyre, to assist them in caring for their 47-year-old son, Steven, who is living with a mental health condition. “We felt it was important to share the little we have with those in need. Hip hop is not just about music, but also about love and giving,” said IKK. Steven’s mother, Emma Mnyema, said her son developed the condition while he was in Standard Five, adding that the family has struggled for years to provide him with the care and support he needs.
