A young Wisconsin cattle producer is stepping into a national leadership role after being elected to the National Junior Angus Association (NJAA) Board of Directors. Maggie Mindemann (pictured in the middle) is one of six junior members chosen during the 2026 National Junior Angus Show in Louisville, Kentucky. Mindemann joins newly elected directors Audrey Curtin of Illinois, Cailee Flood from California, Lily Jeffries of Kentucky, Gage Long from Oklahoma, and Lauren Phillips of Iowa. The NJAA Board of Directors serves as the youth leadership team for the organization. Board members travel nationwide to assist with cattle shows, leadership conferences, and educational events while representing junior Angus members.
