The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has alleged that former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was in communication with two people implicated in the murder of mental health doctor Victoria Mutiso, including one of the main suspects. Addressing the press on Friday, August 7, DCI Director Mohamed Amin claimed investigators had established communication between Gachagua and one of the key suspects. "Unfortunately, what clearly came out of this is that Honourable Rigathi Gachagua was in communication with one of the main suspects who was feeding him with this information," Amin said. The DCI boss further added that investigators also found evidence suggesting the former DP had been in contact with the motorcycle rider who ferried the murder suspects.
