(DeWitt County Sheriff's Department)YORKTOWN — A Yorktown man remains in the DeWitt County Jail after being arrested on felony charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and continuous violence against the family, according to the DeWitt County Sheriff’s Office. Alvin Franklin Felder, 51, of Yorktown, was booked into the DeWitt County Jail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and continuous violence against the family. Felder’s bond was set at $250,000 on the aggravated assault charge and $75,000 on the continuous violence against the family charge, for a combined total of $325,000. The continuous violence against the family charge carries a punishment of 2 to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
