Hampshire and IW Constabulary said it was reported at around 4.45pm yesterday (Thursday, August 6). A 39-year-old man was assaulted and suffered minor injuries to his face on Culver Parade, police said. A 45-year-old woman from Portsmouth was subsequently arrested on suspicion of assault and has been bailed until Monday, August 24 while enquiries continue. A spokesperson said: "If you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dashcam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
