A motorcycle with two riders crashed into a tree in Falmouth on Thursday night, injuring both passengers. At 9:59 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6, the Falmouth Police Department responded to a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Leighton and Brook roads, according to a news release from Chief of Police John Kilbride. Both the motorcycle driver, a 43-year-old man from Cumberland, and his 35-year-old female passenger, also from Cumberland, were thrown from the motorcycle. The male driver sustained critical injures and was transported to Maine Medical Center by Falmouth Fire/EMS.
