The number of active voters in Connecticut decreased by 0.8% this year, with some parties losing more affiliates than others. lost 1.3% of its active voters, or 6,258. Minor parties, which include the Libertarian, Green, Independent and Working Families parties, lost 2.6% of their ranks. The Democratic Party lost 0.4%, or 3,036, according to the Secretary of the State’s office. About 41.5% of active voters are currently unaffiliated, about the same as in 2025.
