Pink Floyd saxophonist Dick Parry, who died aged 83 in May this year, left an estate worth just £50,000 – a fraction of the fortune of the more famous members of the legendary band. Parry played saxophone on many of Pink Floyd’s greatest hits including tracks from the albums Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here. Roger Waters, who left Pink Floyd in 1985, is said to be worth £160million in the current Sunday Times Rich List. He became friends with Gilmour when the guitarist was playing for a Cambridge band called Jokers before joining Pink Floyd in 1968. When Pink Floyd reunited at Live 8 in 2005, he appeared with the band once again.
