But above all they’re a pop band. A sweet pop song, maybe you could even call it a ballad of sorts. It still feels like the full stop on this version of Man/Woman/Chainsaw as there’s a tantalising end where it could explode. Post ‘Get Up and Dance’, in some respects, it feels like there’s some good ideas but they’ve not quite fleshed them out completely. With Man/Woman/Chainsaw you get the sense that anything could happen next, from any one of their six members, in any style or genre.
