There’s been no shortage of that in the UK this year, and Melody Boy is the perfect soundtrack to our long hot summer. That kind of glowing warmth is an ever-present on Melody Boy, which is one of the things that makes it such a joyous affair. All this might sound like rather lavish praise, but Melody Boy really does deserve whatever accolades it gets. It’s an extremely strong set that is so pleasant to listen to that each spin just seems to fly by. Melody Boy is released on 7th August via Colorama Records.
